auditioning fabrics....

Woohoo! It is finally done! I struggled with the hand a lot! First my fingers looked to chubby, then the shading was wrong, I worked on it all day on Wednesday and still didn't like the end result.  I need to practice, practice, pratice!

So now I'm auditioning fabrics for my portrait quilt, thinking I'm going with blue.... maybe green. Boy this is harder than I thought!

Portrait....

This is what I've been working on. Just need to fix a couple of things on the hand, and I can start auditioning  different background fabrics. Thinking of blue/green.

The hand is bothering me, it just doesn't look right, maybe this way is a bit better, I need HELP!

Christmas Presents....

 Christmas presents for two of my granddaughters...... American Girl dolls beds made by my husband and the bedding made by me.
 No sewing going on at my house until after the Holidays.

Finally Finished ~

Gosh ~ quilting  has been pretty slow at my house. I'm trying to finish up quilt tops that I started way back when and that just doesn't excite me :(  I start making a couple of Santa Door Banners, one for my daughters house and one for my house, but that is slow going too!  (one is almost finished).
 I'm hoping I can get motivated!!!  Here is one of my finished quilts.
