Beach Day ~

Well ~ we decided to go to the beach on Saturday. Sometimes I forget just how beautiful San Diego really is. This is Scripps pier in La Jolla.

The water was really cold. Crazy weather we are having.

New Batiking tools ~

So ~ my husband made me these batiking tools. Isn't he nice?

Bali Sands Quilt ~

I'm done with the quilting.

 Boy it has taken me a long time!

 I wish I could stick to one thing!! 

 Now I just need to sew the blocks together. 

I loved the QAYG technique! So easy :) Thanks Marianne! 

  I'm hoping to start putting the blocks together tomorrow ~ but with our beautiful weather, I don't know!

Beautiful Day ~

We had a beautiful day here in San Diego ~ the weather was perfect.  It's going to be in the high 80's low 90's this week.  So I decided I better get my flip flops ready for the week. Yep thats right ~ get my flip flop's ready.
You see ~ I bought ~ Swarovski crystals, and decorated my new flip flops.

Oh happy day!
