A Little Bit Country

This quilt is for my sister. She told me she wanted an oriental quilt, so we went fabric shopping. This is what she  picked out.  It's a far cry from Oriental!  It's.... A Little Bit Country and she's a Little Bit Rock and Roll!

Hand Dyed Fabric

I've had a lot of fun the past few days dyeing and batiking fabric. Boy, it was a lot of work though! Long days. But now that I know what the heck I'm doing, it will be easier the next time.  Here is a picture of all the pretties. All but two are half yard cuts.

Dying and Batiking fabric....

Today was the first time I've ever dyed or batiked fabric. And I have to say, it was a lot of fun!

We ( sister-in-law ) use 8 different colors. They came out so bright and pretty.
